In Town

Bemon,
I had a thought. Maybe we could send an animal messanger to that lady you were wanting to talke to. I don't know how the spell works, but if it gets to her and she is interested in talking about the old magic then she could lets us know.

Andros,
Lets not split up the group. I suggest that we postpone one and do the other on a different night. I like getting our rep up so keep up the good work. If we could get some work in town that might raise our reputation here I would love to go that route.

Ella,
I don't know your goals or wants here so keep on watching whoever has the key. That sword of yours can keep them at bay.

DM,
If we stay another day I would like to spend time at the temple and seek guidance with the upper clergy about my weapon and where it came from. It still concerns me that it my be of a not totaly good nature. I also would like to acquire items to give the heathens across the mountains. Holy symbols, phamplets and things like that.

ALL
We cannot stay in one place too long for fear of key hunters tracking us down. I would like to find a way to mask the key. I believe that the Wizard told us that a lead box would mask it somewhat. We could aslo look into finding a way to put an anti-scry on a container and keep it in there.

  1. I am very concerned about the key, and at least two sets of eyes should be on the key at any given time.

    CONCERN:
Although I do not really have any disagreements with what you have brought up, except with what is not mentioned.

Are we not going to try to figure out who killed Jobes family? Do we not want to check the players here? It seems very NON- heroish of us to say "Oh, their dead, not our business anymore." I think we owe it to Jobe, and especially his son, to try to figure out what happened to them.

I am by no means comfortable in a city like this, or very good at gathering information from others, but some of you are - so why don't you see what you can find out.

I also think that we need to do as much research as possible on planar travel, and any legends regarding the god key or ancient relics created by the gods to help them travel between planes. I don't think that it is wise to go searching for information on the "god key", I think we are too much of a target as is, but some background can only aid us on how to use the key more effectively. I also want to find out if time travel is possible with the key, as we could go back to a time before Jobe was killed. If we are going to do planar travel - information on Sigil would probably help as well.

  2. Yes. I will avenge Jobe's family. I do believe that they will be coming to us so I am not worried about trying to find them as of yet. I doubt that they will give up on getting the key just because we said no.

I think that Bemon and Andros will be able to find out more info in this city than any of the rest us us. So I will leave that to them.

Time travel. Here take the key and try to go 10 minutes into the future. I'm not gonna try that one right now. Good luck and I will be here to defend you if anything goes wrong.

I don't know that we need to look into planer travel right now, but if you want to research it , I wont stop you. Any background I guess is good to have.
